The Marietta Business Association’s NetExpo 2017 “Celebrity Take the Plunge” Flume Race for Charity Event took place on August 10, 2017 at White Water Park! MG Joe Jarrard joined BG Tom Carden to “take the plunge” for the Georgia National Guard Foundation as they competed with celebrities representing eight other deserving charities!
We are excited to announce that BG Tom Carden was the 1st Place Winner!
Prior to the flume race competition, the “It’s All About the Sauce” Chicken Cook-Off between the City of Marietta Police, City of Marietta Fire, Cobb 911, Cobb Sheriff’s Office, and two teams from the Georgia National Guard competed in the cook-off! “Celebrity Judges” all agreed that the 1st and 2nd place cook-off winners were our team members from JFHQ and the 48th Brigade! Awesome effort by all who participated!
